The deputy chief of naval operations for Fleet Readiness and Logistics approved revisions to the latest CNO Instruction (OPNAVINST 1534.lD), transitioning the Merchant Marine Reserve (MMR) Program into the Strategic Sealift Officer Program (SSOP) June 10.
