Default "Why do so many..."

Why do so many in America's government, press/media & even notables whom should know much better than First Graders, keep childlike & concertedly praising The Muslim Brotherhood?

ORRRRRRRRRRRRRR,...as Glenn Beck QUITE HONESTLY & WISELY (as usual) queried:
"What's up with the love affair with Muslim Brotherhood"?

Have Old Hippies & War Protesters NOW hypocritically ruling & deceptively or pervertedly informing all rest of We Americans...just gone Bonkers?

Think that naively (stupidly also) apologizing for America & constantly pandering & capitulating to large Muslim Extremist World, will actually stop such: "Avowed to Allah" Mass-Murderers from killing U.S. Citizen & World INFIDELS en mass...FOREVER?

Of course not. Kissing fanatical posteriors or butts never resolved anything.

I haven't heard anyone treat the Muslim Brotherhood with anything but wariness. Who I praising them? The best I have heard is that MAYBE they aren't violent.

Major Media Miss: Muslim Brotherhood's Stated Goal Has Long Been 'To Seize U.S.'

By Tom Blumer | February 09, 2011 | 13:56

UPDATE: The full text of the referenced Dallas Morning News item, courtesy of Rich Noyes at the Media Research Center, is here (posted for fair use and discussion purposes).

While looking for something else, I accidentally stumbled across a 2007 item in my blog's archives that makes the current soft media treatment of the Muslim Brotherhood even more outrageous than it already appears.

In September of that year, the Dallas Morning News, covering the Holy Land Foundation terrorist funding trial, directly described what had been learned about the Muslim Brotherhood and its goals -- not in Egypt, but the in U.S. (link is to excerpt at my blog; DMN article is no longer available at Dallas.com or in the ProQuest library database):
Muslim Brotherhood’s papers detail plan to seize U.S.

Amid the mountain of evidence released in the Holy Land Foundation terrorism financing trial, the most provocative has turned out to be a handful of previously classified evidence detailing Islamist extremists’ ambitious plans for a U.S. takeover.

A knot of terrorism researchers say the memos and audiotapes, many translated from Arabic and containing detailed strategies by the international Islamist group the Muslim Brotherhood, are proof that extremists have long sought to replace the Constitution with Shariah, or Islamic law.
Fortunately, the indispensable Sweetness & Light excerpted further (bold is mine):
The documents – introduced in recent weeks as part of the prosecution’s case in the trial of the now defunct Holy Land Foundation and five of its organizers – lay out the Brotherhood’s plans in chillingly stark terms.

A 1991 strategy paper for the Brotherhood, often referred to as the Ikhwan in Arabic, found in the Virginia home of an unindicted co-conspirator in the case, describes the group’s U.S. goals, referred to as a "civilization-jihadist process."

"The Ikhwan must understand that their work in America is a kind of grand jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and sabotaging its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and God's religion is made victorious over all other religions," it states. This process requires a "mastery of the art of ‘coalitions,' the art of 'absorption' and the principles of 'cooperation.'"
"Coalitions," "absorption," and "cooperation" are clearly not intended to be sincere exercises based on goodwill.

Now that the Obama administration has agreed that the Muslim Brotherhood deserves a role in Egypt's new government, I suspect you won't be seeing much mention of this, if any, in the establishment press. A January 31 item at the Associated Press pictured here describes the group as a "deeply conservative Islamist organization." Yeah, except for the "Islamist" part, almost like Tea Partiers, or something. Zheesh.

In a non-fawning media environment, someone would ask the questions Eileen Toplansky at American Thinker, who also exhaustively recounted the Brotherhood's history and intentions, framed on Monday:
It is now time to test Obama's moral compass. He needs to be directly asked if he believes the Muslim Brotherhood is a threat to the United States. If he affirms that it is, then he needs to be forcefully questioned as to why he has not taken more concerted steps to thwart their growth in the United States.

If, on the other hand, the 44th president states that the Muslim Brotherhood is not a threat, then it is quite clear where his true allegiance rests. American vulnerability would be publicly exposed putting us at grave risk.

If Obama cannot or will not answer this simple question, then his neutral stance also speaks volumes and will embolden the terrorism of the Muslim Brotherhood.

It is the Rubicon moment for this man. It is the wake-up call for the rest of us.
Unfortunately, it's only a wake-up call if someone sounds an alarm that will be widely heard. The lack of even the most rudimentary media vigilance, combined with an inexplicable reluctance on the part of Obama's political opponents to speak out forcefully on matters such as these, would seem to ensure that any alarms raised will either be muted or only known to the few who are relatively engaged.

Default 1Cav,...

Recent quite lordly words that: "Obama Administration has agreed that the Muslim Brotherhood deserves a role in Egypts new government" seems more than just MB praising to me.

In fact, such absurd enemy pandering by HIGHEST of American Officials is WORSE than just praise.

I believe such is actually quite stupidly enemy encouraging & nationally-suicidal, at best.

Hope I'm wrong, since me & mine are being naively put at risk just like all rest of TRUE American Infidels whom HONESTLY: "Pray to Jesus every night".

Well, I don't know which is the more dangerous course, to include them or to exclude them. We sure don't need another Iranian type theocracy. One thing different in Egypt is the military. They are the real source of power in Egypt and I believe in the end they will protect what they have. They are a major business organization, most of the manufacturing in Egypt is done by military owned factories. They are also the most respected institution in Egypt so they would have a lot to lose if they either cracked down or supported Islamic extremists.

Muslim Brotherhood text reveals scope of radical creed
By OREN KESSLER
09/02/2011
Translated by Palestinian Media Watch, book details group’s goal of global Islamic conquest.
One of the greatest beneficiaries of the unrest in Egypt has been the Muslim Brotherhood.

Banned but tolerated for decades by successive Egyptian regimes, the Islamist movement is now emerging as a central player in the country’s resurgent opposition.

Analysis: Dangerously underestimating the Muslim Brotherhood

On Tuesday, two Brotherhood representatives participated in an opposition delegation that met with Vice President Omar Suleiman for the first set of talks over implementing political reforms.

Pundits have portrayed the Brotherhood as uncompromising zealots or beneficent providers of social services that long-deprived Egyptians desperately need.

But a translation released Tuesday of a 1995 book by the movement’s fifth official leader sheds light on just how Egypt’s Brotherhood views itself and its mission. Jihad is the Way is the last of a five-volume work, The Laws of Da’wa by Mustafa Mashhur, who headed the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt from 1996-2002.

The Jerusalem Post on Tuesday saw excerpts of the text, compiled by Palestinian Media Watch founder Itamar Marcus and analyst Nan Jacques Zilberdik.

They detail the Brotherhood’s objectives of advancing the global conquest of Islam and reestablishing the Islamic Caliphate, the public and private duties of jihad and the struggle Muslims must wage against Israel.

The full text, translated by PMW, will be posted Wednesday on the organization’s website, Palwatch.org.

“The Islamic ummah,” it says, referring to the supranational community of Muslims, “can regain its power and be liberated and assume its rightful position which was intended by Allah, as the most exalted nation among men, as the leaders of humanity.”

Elsewhere, it exhorts Muslims, “Know your status, and believe firmly that you are the masters of the world, even if your enemies desire your degradation.”

Marcus spoke to the Post about what he views as the danger of downplaying the Brotherhood’s ideology, or expecting it to moderate its objectives after being allowed into the political process. The movement differs from international terror groups like Al-Qaida, he said, only in tactics, not in its goals.

Marcus cited passages in the text that urge Muslims to wage jihad only when circumstances are ripe.

“The Brotherhood is not rushed by youth’s enthusiasm into immature and unplanned action which will not alter the bad reality and may even harm the Islamic activity, and will benefit the people of falsehood,” Mashhur wrote.

“One should know that it is not necessary that the Muslims repel every attack or damage caused by the enemies of Allah immediately, but [only] when ability and the circumstances are fit to it.”

Jihad is the Way explicitly endorses the reinstatement of a worldwide Islamic regime.

“It should be known that jihad and preparation towards jihad are not only for the purpose of fending off assaults and attacks of Allah’s enemies from Muslims, but are also for the purpose of realizing the great task of establishing an Islamic state and strengthening the religion and spreading it around the world.”

“Jihad for Allah,” Mashhur wrote, “is not limited to the specific region of the Islamic countries, since the Muslim homeland is one and is not divided, and the banner of Jihad has already been raised in some of its parts, and shall continue to be raised, with the help of Allah, until every inch of the land of Islam will be liberated, and the State of Islam established.”

Hassan al-Banna, the movement’s founder, “felt the grave danger overshadowing the Muslims and the urgent need and obligation which Islam places on every Muslim, man and woman, to act in order to restore the Islamic Caliphate and to reestablish the Islamic state on strong foundations.”

Despite its universal message, the book attaches particular significance to the Holy Land.

“Honorable brothers have achieved shahada [martyrdom] on the soil of beloved Palestine, during the years ’47 and ’48, in their jihad against the criminal, thieving, gangs of Zion,” it says.

“Still today, memory of them horrifies the Jews and the name of the Muslim Brotherhood terrifies them.”

Elsewhere, Mushhar wrote, “The imam and shahid Hassan Al-Banna is considered as a martyr of Palestine, even if he was not killed on its soil ... in all his writings and conversations, he always urged towards jihad and aroused the desire for seeking martyrdom ... he did not content himself only with speech and writing, and when the opportunity arrived for jihad in Palestine, he hurried and seized it.”

Wielding a broader brush, Mashhur wrote, “The problems of the Islamic world – such as in Palestine, Afghanistan, Syria, Eritrea or the Philippines – are not issues of territories and nations, but of faith and religion.

They are the problems of Islam and all Muslims, and their resolution cannot be negotiated and bargained by recognizing the enemy’s right to the Islamic land he stole, and therefore there is no other option but jihad for Allah, and this is why jihad is the way.”

Muslim Brotherhood's very own words and/or main objectives being: "The advancing of global conquest by Islam and reestablishing the Islamic Caliphate, the public and private duties of jihad and the struggle Muslims must wage against Israel"...SEZ-IT-ALL.

Stupidly be convinced believing otherwise or that Muslim Brotherhood are just another religious or political group by quite purposefully duplicitous zealots (both American & foreign types),...and suffer the most lethally serious of consequences.

Remember. We average Americans do not have State Police or Secret Service (or both) safeguarding us everywhere we go.

Therefore we much lesser protected Americans must be infinitely much more wary of Muslim Brotherhood: "Avowed to Allah" INFIDEL KILLERS,...than all our leaders (some say: "Rulers") must be.

Muslim Terrorist are looking for easy kills. Not shoot-outs with heavily armed security types.

Not to worry about that Good Old Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt anymore, folks.
It's been reported that they will register as a new & bonafide Political Party.

Smart move.

Still,...I would suggest they change that Muslim Brotherhood monicker, since having a very bad historical connotation & reputation as quite lethally authoritarian ruling masters.

Why not just change their name like America's: "Democrat/Socialist/Marxist or Communist Political Supremacist Ruling Elite posing as Liberals" quite awhile back did? Worked rather well for them.

Betcha new name of: "PROGRESSIVES" will dupe & sucker just as many Egyptians into quite lordly submission, as similarly did to many Americans. Possibly even more? What could possibly be worst than previous Mubarak Rule, anyway?

After all, didn't America's friendly top rulers (re: Obama, Clinton & Administration) foreign panderers, apologists & capitulators to Muslim Brotherhood & anything Islamic or foreign & alien here & all professing being proud-as-hell to be: "PROGRESSIVES",...achieve Great Power & Control in USA?

Hey. What obviously worked quite well for America's PROGRESSIVES or Quite Suspect of Intent & Duplicitous ruling elite,...logically should work just as well for Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood. Don't you think? Hey,..."Birds of a feather..." & "All That Jazz".
