Exclamation Who Is Your Presidential Candidate ?

96.58% on my choice. It verified my research.

This is an interesting site with questions about your views and how they match with the candidates. I found it to be very educational.

Default D-Joy,...

Guess that it all depends on whose asking the questions
and whose grading or sorting them?

Did roughly same type test on some other site and it showed
Fred Tompson as my choice.
Similarly answering on votehelp.org test taken, shows my choice as: McCain.

for Thompson on this site.

88.24 for Hunter on this one

Different questions, different range for answers.

In my opinion, just a way to organize thoughts on what you are for or against and how strongly you feel about each.

I'm strongly anti-illegal immigration with strong feelings on the subject. One site asked (VoteHelp is a nonpartisan candidate calculator) my position on the subject (28 subjects, 5 levels for both opinion & importance).

The other asked (a military site, VA Joe) about my position on the legislation (24 subjects. 3 levels for both do you support & importance) + who do you plan to vote for.

I haven't discussed my specific candidate choice except with close friends but sent the web addresses out to many in my address book whether I thought they agree politically with me.

Surprise ensued. After discussion, some friends vote "against" not "for" for President and the immigration issue was of high importance.

If I find one that says I should vote for Hillary, I'll be sure to let you know.

No real shock, came up Giuliani. Had it been Clinton I never would have admitted it and would stay FAR AWAY from the polls accept for the one that I'd puke on.

I've seen about a half dozen of these things. I think this is the best one of the lot. You can answer almost all of the questions without compromise (one of these "compasses" assumed that global warming was a fact and the questions were worded in such a way I could not answer them honestly). Plus, when you finish, you can actually click on the candidates and see their words on the issues in which you agreed/disagreed (with links to the stories/speeches as well). Pretty cool. I came up with Huckabee (who I'm not voting for, but that's on personal differences), then Giuliani and McCain. Which is pretty close to where I'm leaning. And Hillary dead last which is dead on.

Thompson then Huckabee. Must be my subconscious.

Oh well. What do I know, I'm just an unemployed coal miner.
