Default Nancy Pelosi will visit Syria

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi will visit Syria, a country President Bush has shunned as a sponsor of terrorism, despite being asked by the administration not to go.
When asked just what she planed on accomplishing she replied. "The tires have always been black" only a few understood.

Before she arrives
The President should send out a World news release.
"The views of Nancy are her own and do not reflect the position of world affairs that the United States has."

Aw, come on, now guys, she's just practicing the "jimmy Carter" methodology of foreign relations, sucking up to every tyrant, thug, and dictator that exists. Tolerance, we need to practice more tolerance with thee tyrants, thugs and dictators, and that will make them like us. Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight! And a monkey will fly smooth out of your rectal orifice first.

Default Friends & Fellow TRUE Patriots...

Hey,...and: "Birds of a feather..." and; "All That Jazz" aside.

But, WHERE BETTER can Her Great Worthiness Nancy Pelosi
be adored, adulated and respected than in Syria, anyway?

She and Crowd most definitely much more helpful and encouraging
for The Syrians,...than CERTAINLY EVER WERE for both San Franciscans
and Americans. Well,...for MOST San Franciscans & Americans, anyway.

This is from yesterday's MSNBC news:

Pelosi shrugged off White House criticism of her visit, saying in Lebanon on Monday that it was an ?excellent idea? for her and other lawmakers ? Democrats and Republicans alike ? to go to there. ?We have no illusions but great hopes? for her talks with Assad, Pelosi said.

?It?s interesting because three of our colleagues, who are all Republicans, were in Syria yesterday and I didn?t hear the White House speaking out about that,? Pelosi said Monday, referring to the Sunday meeting of Reps. Frank Wolf (R-VA), Joe Pitts (R-PA)and Robert Aderholt (R-AL)with Assad in Damascus.

?I think that it was an excellent idea for them to go,? Pelosi said. ?And I think it?s an excellent idea for us to go, as well.?

While discouraging visits by U.S. officials, the administration is talking to Syria as part of international conferences on Iraq. The first was held last month in Baghdad. Another, to include foreign ministers, was expected to be held sometime this month in the region.

So it appears that Georgie Bush doesn't necessarily think "what's good for the goose, is good for the gander".
