Arrogance And Denial
Want to see just how arrogant and deceptive VA Secretary Jim Nicholson really is?
This S.O.B. is the worst excuse for a veterans 'advocate' ever appointed to this position by any president in modern times. Bush selected him to replace Anthony Princippi only because Nicholson would do everything and ANYTHING he was told to hold down or reduce costs and mislead and lie to the American public about the Veterans Administration! ---START--- VIDEO: ARROGANCE AND DENIAL -- VA Secretary Jim Nicholson with Bob Woodruff of ABC News. Nicholson back-pedals on number of wounded / injured troops being treated by VA. --------------- This video is from the ABC News Special -- Iraq and Back: Bob Woodruff Reports -- which aired on Tuesday, February 27, 2007. In this report, Nicholson hems and haws about the number of wounded troops being treated by the VA. It is also pointed out that the VA has no program in place to screen returning troops for traumatic brain injuries (TBI), the signature wound of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. In a public relations move that can only be described as cynical, the VA announced just before this program was broadcast that they would begin screening all returning troops for TBI. There's just one problem: HOW? Most VA facilities don't have the equipment or trained personnel to do this properly. The arrogance of this move is beyond comprehension. VA press release here... http://www.vawatchdog.org/07/vap07/vap022707-1.htm Complete video of program is here... http://abcnews.go.com/WNT/ The length of this clip is 6:47. Posted on YouTube here... ---END---
