Default Er, uhm. Some thoughts on the elections

The people have spoken: Blowjobs are to be between one man and one woman. No more young boys or male prostitutes.

Lobbyists have doubled in Washington to 35,000 since Bush became president. The Democrats hope to improve on that.

It is now evident how many attack ads a half a billion dollars will buy for the Republicans. The Dems were poor, only $400,000. Both caused picking a candidate to be similar to hunting for a penny in a spitoon.

We are one step closer to banning married gays from burning the flag.

Rumsfeld has been freed to do what he was meant to do: Argue with himself in the mirror.

Thus spoketh the people.

Yeah seems that way. Dems now control House and Senate. Bush is a lameduck now that is for sure.

He's too educated to be in the military but he is dumb enough to be a Senator.

Post Iraq went too long.

That's the bottom line. Just like Vietnam went too long. WWII seems to have been a short war when compared to Vietnam and Iraq. Rumsfeld fights a war like George McClellan.

Keith,

Gotta disagree with you on that. McClellan cared for him men; to Rummy, GI's are just so much expendable meat.

Post You may be right.

Rumsfeld never seemed to be compassionate. McClellan was compassionate, maybe too compassionate for an Army General.

Gracie,
In war people are going to die. I would agree that one life lost is one too many but on the other side of the coin is the fact that if there aren't any lives lost you aren't fighting a war or the enemy is on the run. I don't think Rosie's comment made a lot of sense.

HOWEVER, we should have been in out a lot quicker than what we have been. I think Rumsfeld policies had a lot to do with the way the war was fought.

Keith

Now you two kids behave yourself. My counciling agenda if too full with Bob K and Tom Packo.

Bro Keith: you seem to have fallen into the same mental trap as others. Conducting a counter-terrorism campaign is similar to a counter-insurgency; both are totally different from the general type of warfare of WWII, and by definition will be longer, calling for more patience, the rarest commodity of the American people.
