The website is run by the aviation ordinance unit at Fallon Naval Air Station.

They have the patches and other embroidery done by a business in Fallon, Nevada.

The money from the sale of the items on the website is used for their MWR budget. Their biggest deal is a once a year barbecue.

We visited our son Peter (GunnerCarvo here) this weekend. He contacted the aviation ordinance office to pick up a patch for me.

5" patch pretty big for a patch and $7 not too bad.

12" patch humongous and $15 seems pretty reasonable.

About a month or so ago, one of San Francisco?s best, a councilman as I recall, was out and about trying to stir up support for the notion that our Military should be disbanded and the funding used for child education. I thought that a mighty curious bit of business in that San Francisco is notorious for slight of hand tricks with their education monies and equally famous for running out of children to educate. That?s a ?go figure?.

I think the best deal is that San Francisco succeed from the Union and become a separate country sans Military or Cops, etc. :re:

And without a Military, I reckon we?d have the life expectancy of a fruit fly, talk about a land grab coming down. :ek:
