A new Low in Journalism

An editorial cartoon appeared in a recent issue of the "Washington Post," depicting an extremely wounded veteran of the Iraqi war. It was such an egregiously offensive cartoon that a letter of protest, signed by the combined Chiefs of all the services was sent to the editor. Rarely if ever has that type of response been generated, but rarely if ever has such an offensive depiction of our warriors been printed in the main stream media.

Thanks to Ray Funderburk, a friend of mine from Tet '68, and currently PR Director for the Military Order of the Purple Heart, for bringing this action to our attention.

One thing you can depend on in Journalism, no matter how low they go, they can always find a way to go lower....Im sure they dont teach that in college so it must be a direct result of their maternal upbringing

Signed in and sent a letter to the editor. Bet they dont publish
that one
