Nice morning here on the Gulf coast

Weather finally starting to get back to normal for this area. A little cloudy and we sure could use the rain. I'm tired of this mess left behind by Katrina, but I faired better than most in the neighborhood. The whole Ms. coast from the water back say a quarter mile inland is simply gone in most areas. Many people still sleeping in tents on the slab where their homes once stood. Help is here, but progress is moving all so slowly. For the first four days after the storm it was absolute wild west around here. Areas that know one ever thought were flood prone were simply washed away. Anyway, better weather today, may get some things done around the old base camp!
