Hey everybody!!! I'll keep sending those pictures as much as I can...still learning how to use the digital camera!
To answer a few questions... The desert doors on the ambulance are up armored...thats it, just the doors the forward panel and the floor panel. We do have kevlar blankets drapped over the walls on the inside of the crackerbox. Yes...burning the crap. Everyday...some places have real flushing toilets but they havent made them to the RP's yet. Hey, I ought to send a picture of the piss tubes slammed into the perimeter birm. I will send 'em as I get 'em! Thanks.

Burning shit? Piss tubes? Are any of them marked field grade officers only?

In the rear , at Dong Ha , we had makeshift showers over pallets and there was a big sign that said " Please don't piss in the shower "

Fred you can always tell those tubes from the others, they are the taller ones

Great pics, Doc. Thanks.
Stay safe and thanks for taking good care of our men and women over there. You're the greatest. My church prays for you guys corporately twice a week and our congregation prays for you privately everyday. We pray for your safety, health, success (militarily and otherwise), and rapid victory and return. You are all held in high esteem by the vast, vast majority of our nation. We are proud of you and stand by you all the way. God bless! Len |
