Same sex Marrage
We need an amendment or a vote would work also.
Each state, this november, should have on there ballit two additonal things to vote for. 1. does your state want to allow same sex marrages? 2. does your state want to recognise same sex marrages from other states? If one state wants to allow same sex marrages and one state doesn't recognise same sex marrage then the same sex couple doesn't get marrage benifits in the state that does not recognise the marrage. (don't marry your boyfriend and move to Texas) Bud. Ron |

I wonder how the two gay/lesbian members of your immediate family feel about your opinion, Ron? Probably not much.

Here's a website with lists all the current state laws regarding same-sex marriages: http://www.stateline.org/stateline/?...Info&id=353058 . So in case you're not sure what your particular state laws are, here's the place to find out. The US Senate, on July 15, the proposed amendment to define marriage as a union between one man and one woman failed by a 48-50 vote, 12 shy of the required 60.
