Is it possible question
Is it possible to transfer the entire text of a different website (or a portion of a website) to here or a different message board without having to type the whole blankety-blank thing out? ---not just the website address?

Hold down the left mouse button at the beginning or end of what you want to copy. Hold it down while you highlight all that you want to copy. With the mouse over the colored part, right click the mouse and choose copy from the list.
Open the page you want the information on with the cursor in the area you want the information in and right click again choosing paste from the list. Easy but make sure if you post information that you want people to know but disagree with, that you state that in your post. Saves aggravation and misunderstandings. Shortcut keys:
Highlight the info you wish to copy the hold the control key down and hit C (Ctrl + C). To paste it hold the control key and hit V (Ctrl + V). Control X will cut the text you want to remove, and shift + delete will permanently delete your selection. BUT don't use that one unless you are absolutely, possitively sure you want to delete it. Once you use the shift+delete it is gone forever.

Thanks to you also. Both ways work. It pays to ask questions. You're both Angels

Ya know I never got used to the short cut keys. Probably because I don't use them enough and I can't remember all the shortcuts. But I am amazed how much they can do and each year they get better and better and pretty soon we can just talk to them and they will display from what I hear.
Technology isn't it great!

Umm Boats,
They already do that. And then there is the special computer designed just for Stephen Hawkins. It interfaces with his eye movements. He has written two books on Physics using this computer. It will also read back, in an electronic voice, the text he enters. For those unfamiliar with Professor Hawkins; he is a Professor of Physics at Cambridge University in England. He is credited with many new discoveries in this field of science. He is wheelchair bound with a severely dibiliating disease that has left him unable to communicate with the outside world. It was recently reported in the news that his doctor found bruises and contusions on his body. Prof. Hawkins refused to name his attacker but many believe it is his home aide. How frightening to be a brilliant mind desperately trapped in a decaying body and totally reliant on the care of others.
