The Best Enemies That Money Can Buy?

For decades, the United States has bought the (often-questionable) loyalties of nations around the world, this no one can deny! And of late, one of the biggest examples of this ?Buying Your Enemy Mentality? has been visible in the Middle East, an area awash in money and oil! ?But has this worked? (That all depends upon whom you ask!?)

Now that the United States has showed the world that there is a price to be paid for infamy, ambush and murder, the nations of the Middle East have learned that there is no more free lunches, and no more unanswered attacks against our and Coalition Forces!!

?Apparently, however, all of our tactics are not being delivered via shot and fire!? I just learned that multi-millions (over that vast fortune already allocated for Iraqi reconstruction), are being gifted Iraqis for information on the whereabouts of enemy assets! As a matter of fact, maybe some within Iraq are finally getting the message, as a group of over 1000 Iraqi citizens recently took to the streets in support of our forces!! Hell, even the Iraqi police are falling in on our side, or so says the media!

In a nation (Iraq) that is still flush with cash and oil (according to a major TV network), the United States is still shoveling forth vast amounts of ?Yankee Greenbacks? to buy valuable intelligence, money often well-spent! Operations like IV Cyclone and Iron Fist have proven the true value of indigenous feed back, be it for a price!! As a matter of fact, one general is said to have paid out over $20,000,000 to fund 22 major projects in Iraq!?

Unfortunately, many in Iraq (and here too, myself included at times), want prompt results, at least according to one Ambassador, a diplomatic position often bought by the wealthy who have grown tired of their other play-toys!

The only question now is - ?Are the terrorist proliferating faster than we can knock them off??

Was it General MacArthur who once replied to a Chinese threat (in Korea) to march their troops at us, four abreast until Hell freezes over? To which, MacArthur replied: ?You keep marching them, and we?ll keep mowing them down!? Hey, and this was but 6 or so years after we saved the Chinese people from the horrors of the Rising Sun!!
