![]() He went into the reserves earlier this year and has now been called up to duty. We don't know to much right now but its is likely that it will be as a "replacement" for the troops in Iraq now.
My aunt is VERY upset and we all are. I know its part of his job, but he has already served in Bosnia and we are just worried about him. |

![]() Hey Girl,
Supposedly my X Son In Law did also. But ifn you been following my story on him I dont believe he did. He says for 18 months. Just be with your Cuz all the way like you are here, and keep in constant touch, ( even just a simple Thank You and I love You sent in an envelope to him once a week would suffice. Tell him we " The Patriots " are behind 100% enough......... Might want to copy all this after a few days of replies and send it to him.....

![]() Melody,
I agree. I spoke to a young (to me anyway) woman who burst into tears at the brutality she had seen. She's a tough as they come by the way. If you have heart and honor it's hard to handle all the time....yes, I think prayers are in order. |

![]() When the recruter put the paper for him to sign in front of him, he should have said no thanks. When you join you go where they send you. If he didn't go someone else would have to go.

![]() They called up our local National Guard. The whole unit will be on active duty for 18 months right after Christmas. They will spend 6 months training in Ft. Lewis and then be deployed. The guard and reserves are just as likely to serve in a combat zone as regular Army. Interesting times in which we live.

![]() I'm not sure what kind of unit they are. We had a reserve unit called up last winter they are still there. They are a transportation unit. They have had a few casualities though none have been life threatening.

![]() I heard on the news that a unit from Washington was on alert and they were Military Police. Not sure if same one or if others on alert as well. I tend to notice military police. Ditto assualt units.
