Arafat has always had an armor-plated desk, courtesy of many at the United Nations, aided and abetted of course, by his friends in Syria, the Sudan, Saudi Arabia, and elsewhere in the Muddled-East!

Now however, it appears that by vetoing a resolution that would have increased ?Yassar?s-Kevlar?, some fear that we (USA) have turned a blind side to Israel?s threat to ?Eradicate Arafat!?

Eleven out of fifteen in the Security Council voted to cut Arafat some (more) slack, and Saeb Erakat (Chief Palestinian Negotiator) has warned that our veto will give Israel a license to kill! ?Hell, when did anyone else in that region ever need a license to butcher, or is this a one way, self-awarded perk of terror ??

Could it possibly be that many of the ?Blood Thirsty Cretins of Turbanville? fear a domino effect, or open season upon those who advocate mindless violence! ?A signal perhaps, that their days too may (?) be numbered!!?

I think it is about time we, the great USA, stop hamstringing Israel's fight against terrorism within its own borders. We go to war internationally because of terrorist attacks, but stand by for years and openly forbid Israel from utilizing maximum effort against terrorism by witholding military aid. I, for one, applaud the latest vote in the UN, and only hope we go the extra mile. We, the USA, need to stop resticting Israel in their anti-terrorist actions, including the elimination of the acknowledged leadership of the terrorists organizations.
Yasser Arrafat is a known and self-avowed murdered of both Israelis and Palestinians alike. Anyone who openly disagrees with Arrafat has been caulously eliminated throughout the past 30+ years. Israel should have the right to determine how best to battle their nemesis, without outside second-guessing.
Arrafat likes to send his little martyr-boys to blowup cilvilian places full of women and children and knows he can do so with full impunity because of the bleeding-hearts at the UN. Now maybe he will begin to feel more than a little vurnability.
If Israel is freed to take on the very head of Hamas, the PLO, the Islamic Jihad and the other multitudes of Murder, Inc., then maybe, just maybe, these cretians will begin to realise that their murderous ways is not the way to gain public support.
Israel is up against some 19 enemy countries in the middle east. They have fought and defeated these enemies several times in the past, only to be forced by threat of loss of both economic and military aid to yield their victories.
Israel has not taken one inch of land from her enemies as aresult of these wars, but instead has been forced to surrender over 1/3 of their own land in fruitless attempts to gain recognision of theri right to exist. Israel was formed after WWII by decree from the US, Britain, and the rest of the Allied powers, as a direct result of atrocities committed by the Axis powers. The land given to Israel was waste land that no body, especially the so-called Palestinians (who didn't even exist as a recognised people at that point) wanted. Now, Israel has turned the desert into a garden and all the Arab nations want it now.
The Arabs are using the Palestinian people (?), with a leader of Egyptian heritage, to wage a war by proxy against Israel. Whenever the Palestinians have tried to have a leader of their own choosing, that "leader" is suddenly taken deathly ill (lead poisoning usually) and Arrafat continues in power.
Maybe now Arrafat will begin to see that it is time to leave or face the reality that his life is solely at the descreasion of the Israeli Army.
