Vice Chief: U.K. F-35 Switch Based on 3 Factors

The United Kingdom's vice defense chief said today that the decision to buy the carriant-based version of the F-35 fighter instead of the vertical-launched variant was primarily based on the cost of the former and better capabilities for the latter.
