The Second Front!

With the ?War In Iraq? on the wind-down, a second front is now looming just upon the horizon! This front, however, will not be fought with M-16s, M1A1s, Tomahawk Cruise Missiles, or even F-18s. It will rather be fought with the weapons of the United Nations.

The loud explosions of the Bunker Busters will be replaced with the belly-aching of diplomats, the brilliant tactics of the Coalition will be circumvented by the behind the scenes maneuvering of the UN, and the cringing of much of the Middle Eastern World will now be replaced with the demands of those who?s backbones were made of wet tissue paper when the chips were down!

This second front will not be fought against real men, but rather, like that recent army of worldwide protesters, by people who deal in whimpering and concession making on a grand scale! The Chamberlain-like martyrs to whom no provocation is enough to defend truth, justice, and yes, even the American Way!

On this (second) front, it will not be a matter of survival, but rather a case of coward?s greed! It won?t be the warriors and the true patriots who emerge to lay claim to that which was paid for in blood and sacrifice, but rather the diplomatic maggots who always slither forth, well after the fray, to sink their fangs into any lose piece of flesh left unguarded or unprotected upon a former battlefield! The ?World-Class Weasels? who hid or ducked from responsibility when the outcome was uncertain, only to ooze forth again afterwards with their carpet bags in hand, and their self-awarded laurels waving proudly overhead!

Yes, the second front will not be one of fire and smoke, agony and blood, but rather the conflict of words and threats that always emanate from those who sought deep cover, far removed from the responsibilities of manhood, righteousness, or patriotism! The international buffoons who belittled the erstwhile effort of those who gave it there all to protect and defend even the coward!

Granted, the world is growing smaller by the moment, and yesterday?s enemies and neutrals often evolve into tomorrow?s friends and allies, but in no way do we have to like or respect the actions of those who, when the chips were down, chose fortune over truth, or betrayal over common cause!

I don?t care how much time or tide washes away the imprint, the indelible stain of shame that was left behind by France, Russia, Germany and all of the others who chose to turn their backs on the Coalition during Gulf War II, will mar their flags and their honor for all times to come!
