A Question Of Credibility?
Kofi Annon, along with a gaggle of United Nations Members are insisting that, in order to give credibility to the ?War Against Iraq?, we surrender the rebuilding right$ to that Nation (Iraq) to them!
Just today, however, I saw the multitudes of Baghdad waving ?United States and British Flags? (along with their own), dancing wildly in the streets of their capitol, shouting pro-United States and British slogans, and elated to a point of pure intoxication over their new-found freedoms! And all of this after three decades, trapped under the boots of despotism and tyranny! A despotism that many within Europe and elsewhere helped to promote, enhance and finance! I then witnessed the agonized faces of the families of ?Fallen Coalition Troopers?. Husbands, wives, sons and daughters, fathers and mothers all, none of whom will ever again see their loved ones alive! Several TV Networks also gave estimates of the financial cost of this war, not that any amount of money could ever again bring back our fallen heroes! Great detail was paid, however, to the billion$ expended by those who cared enough to finance the liberation of fellow human-beings - a half world away! We may never know who most of these people were, but the men and women of the Coalition, freely gave their lives and blood to defend them none the less! And yet, and throughout all of this and more, Kofi Annon and some within the United Nations as a whole, still had the audacity to talk about credibility?! ?OUR BLOOD AND OUR SACRIFICE IS OUR CREDIBILITY!!? ?OUR PAIN AND SUFFERING IS OUR CEDIBILITY!!? ?THE LIBERATION OF THE OPPRESSED PEOPLE OF IRAQ IS OUR CREDIBILITY!!? ?A TELLING BLOW AGAINST TERRORISM IS OUR CREDIBILITY!!" And most of all, our ?Undeniable Credibility? is imbedded within our unfailing sense of honor and duty!!? And these dear UN, are traits that far too many of you may, by your own choice, never possess!! For in my unwavering opinion, far too many within the United Nations (including the Security Council), can not even spell the word ?CREDIBILITY," let alone understand it?s true meaning! VERITAS

Bravo!!!...HARDCORE.
Besides Buddy,...who-the-hell in their right mind could possibly believe ANYTHING coming out of the mouths of career pathological liars? Naturally, ANYONE affiliated with, beholding to and/or: "Connected" to America's Leftists and anti-EVERYTHING Conservative/Republican/American will adamently, if not wild-eyed and fanatically disagree.
After all, and since apparently many of such religiously venerate, adore and are in awe of proven to be: "Pathological liars",...what else could one expect. Hey,..."Birds of a feather..." and "All That Jazz". Your: "VERITAS" to such act like a cross or garlic to a vampire or a silver bullet to a werewolf, whom unfortunately and in a political variation normally thrive quite well off The Public's Money being mercilessly taken from US,... and at times, even some blood (naturally not foreign blood - God forbid). Hell,...apparently even: "9/11" didn't/doesn't sway such cult-like or religious beliefs and/or the achieving of political power and control over Americans. Neil |

Sarge...
...right you are. But, it shouldn't surprise ANYONE what impotent, pompous asses, normally accomplish nothing and self/clique/nation-aggrandizing diplomats, beaurocrats normally do or not. It's just an inate thing. And besides, screw all enemies and enemy collaborators,...whether in France, Germany, Russia, and/or The UN. We didn't need them for the rough and tough clean-up, so who-the-hell needs "Them" for the lighter dusting now needed (hopefully).
What surprises me (no doubt Historians also), is that America and The Coalition have apparently forgotten what to immediately do after achieving total victory in a country. Granted, the last time that such was done right was over 50 years ago, in Japan and Germany. The First Order of The Day after destroying both despicable and similarly murderous regimes was to establish Military Law and Order and/or Martial Law, while working with civilians to restore order and eventual self-rule and self-governance. All the Talking Heads here, even with all the daily chaos witnessed now in Iraqi Cities, actually preach, propagate or pontificate that a restoration of order to nomal...MUST BE ACHIEVED OVERNIGHT (pretty-much), or The World will be somehow incensed. I say: "NONSENSE"!!! Which, gets us right back to The Imperial Japanese and Nazi Germany, not even hindered by terrorists, fanatics or tribal animosities as Iraq,...and it still took about 6 Years before Japan and Germany could govern themselves PROPERLY and/or no longer be World Threatening, all by themselves. Naturally, The American Taxpayer assisted both Japan and Germany financially and backed-them-up with muscle against all adversaries over the years. Fortunately for The Taxpayers of all Coalition Partners or Allies this time, the financial burden should be quite minimal. Well, that's how it should be anyway, especially when liberating any Oil Rich Nation. Seems fair, logical and sensible to me. Don't care what The Rangle-types think. Neil |
