What a wussy, politically correct, ambiguous, useless term. Everyone, it seems, has been suckered into using the term. But...

Why not just call them NBCs? Call a spade a spade, and don't sugarcoat it to make it more palatable to a touchy, feel-good public. Use the terms that are really appropriate, terms that people understand: NBCs - Nuclear/Biological/Chemical Weapons.

Never use a little word when a diminutive one will do.
