Where does the pork end and government begin - "Can anyone say for sure??

The ?NEED? for accountability is critical to all erstwhile endeavors, including even ?Homeland Security?, do you not agree? Unfortunately, however, for this ?Neo-Cabinet-Post?, some within politics are quite intent on dragging in the bad, along with the good! (opinion) ?And this is, if you have been following my madness, one of the quintessential concerns that I raised....

What, I ask you, does ?Packing On Political Pork? have to do with ?Saving Our Domestic Bacon? (Homeland Security)? But like all burgeoning ideas and agencies - ?there will (unfortunately), always be those who when offered an fathom of latitude, attempt to seize up a full league of opportunity!!

Such, apparently, is the case as concerns a few of those ?Bureau-Brats? who can literally turn a ?Diamond In The Rough? back into anthracite in a pen-stroke!

Have you ever noticed how when some ?Bills With Genuine Promise? are presented for consideration, a few parasitic elements manage to firmly attach themselves to it?s outer shell, and by doing thus suck the vitals out of something meaningful, or insert garbage that is as far removed from the original bill as the gnat is from the Bald Eagle? Well such is now the case with ?Homeland Security? I fear?

?FOR INSTANCE? - Some in Congress want to guarantee ?Mengele-Like Riders? to the mandates of Homeland Security? Cleaver rhetoric indeed, that would grant almost total protection to ?Generously Donating Pharmaceutical-Giants", thereby removing them from the legal lawsuits of "Poor, Medically Brutalized Citizens!?" This might (?) also pertain to newly developed (and potentially dangerous) drugs (past, present and future) I suspect? Drugs that were used upon even unwitting U.S. Citizens, many of them in uniform?

So what else is new, considering the fact that DAIG-IN 21-75 literally exposed similar protections to various entities, as many as 40 (or more) years ago?! And I was aware of the vested practice of adding on ?Special Interest Flash? to certain needed legislation, but this utterly unrelated ?Oinker-Hash?, also slips through as the ?Law Of The Land? on the coat-tails of genuinely needed legislation. It accomplishes this by being riveted to the backside of healthy laws by those in power who owe their allegiance, not to the taxpaying majority, but rather to the political checkbooks of the ?Escargot For Lunch Bunch!?

As a matter of fact, potential injuries (or even possible death) relating from some neo cure-alls now being hawked by ?HUGE? pharmaceutical corporations, could require that the victim(s) first attain permission from a ?Federal Vaccine Compensation Board? before he (or she) can sue in a court of law for certifiable damages, according to the media! (Can you really see this happening?)

Just imagine if you can, the possibility of being screwed up and screwed over by the private drug sector, the military of the past, and many other significant others, in a fashion similar to that which occurred during the Cold War and beyond! (MK ULTRA, MK NAOMI, OFTEN CHICKWIT, SECOND CHANCE, AGENT ORANGE and GULF WAR SYNDROME etc, etc!

According to a piece that I read in the ?Boston Globe?, it was reported that a certain political party rewarded their biggest drug company contributors, by adding (in a dead of night session), a provision that benefited them immensely, but had ?ABSOLUTELY NOTHING? to do with any aspect of ?Homeland Security!? Ain't Love $$$$ Grand!! And if I read this correctly - are some in Congress implying that - "if they were not allowed to grant immunity from law suits to certain drug companies, these poor companies could be driven into bankruptcy - a financial fate that would be far worse to them than the (mere) potential death of their possible victims, perhaps??

And last, but certainly not least, another ingenious provision within this splendidly re-worded bill, would allow a certain omni-power in government to contract with off-shore (foreign) companies, or so the media claimed! Would this not circumvent certain taxes that similar American companies are eternally saddled with?

As a matter of fact, some "Government-Connected Pseudo-Sage" even went so far as to claim that this ploy would protect U.S. jobs - ?WHAT?!?

And as an addendum to this "Mind-Boggling Whitewash Job" (opinion), one political entity even went so far as to imply that the defeat of this "Stacked-Deck Legislation", might result in real problems for a certain (opposite-party) politico in an upcoming run-off election?! "Is there a threatening message here perhaps?"

God, ain?t some international politicos really special?!
