Diplomacy [lying] is not some new contrivance of mankind! Eve lied like hell about that forbidden fruit in the Garden of Eden, and Cain was anything but truthful about bashing in Abel?s head! The absolute, bald-faced lie, however, has been cunningly replaced with half-truth, spin-doctoring, and of course, ?PURE POLITICAL BULL SHIT!!?

When a person, or group there-of, adopts a lying agenda as a way of life no matter what the self-diluting rationale, that entity must continue to deceive utilizing yet more lies, or diplomacy if you prefer! And as such, what starts out as harmless [barroom style] banter, can quickly mutate into a bloody confrontation!

It never ceases to amaze me how a nation [almost any nation], can habitually profess a hatred of the liar and his deeds. Yet, that same liar can be quickly exalted if [and when] the seeds of his untruth bear the bitter fruits of political profit!

Yet another enigma that always seems to surround the ?Career Liar? [like a halo from Hell], is the fact that most of these people are utterly convinced of their own righteousness? It is a sad truth indeed, that many of these very same individuals even attempt to draw one deity or another in on their brutal dirty-work! One fact, however, always manages to surface above this swamp of human folly - ?almost all who fit into the Chronic Liar category, are more fantasy than reality, and more arrogance than talent!?

The most tragic echo of this social problem is that most people are so damned gullible and eager to repeat past mistakes! There appears to be no lessons learned through trial and error, and all that seems to remain of any redundant beatings, are the mental bruises inflicted upon our fading memories! Many a foreign politico has adequately proven that: ?You can indeed fool all of the people, all of the time!? For were this not the case, could creatures like Stalin, Hitler or Hussein, have ever come into being?

And who pray tell, is absolutely immuned from the venom of limitless ambitious? For without the lie, could any career diplomat continue to exist, let alone thrive? Who within this reality truly selects his leaders on the basis of their true worth, and not for their limitless ability to tell us what we hunger to hear?

Alas, only in international politics, can a person become a ?Born Again Virgin!?
