![]() Can we worry about a terrorist threat to employ dirty bombs and then publish the travel route of a plutonium shipment from Colorado to South Carolina. If the 3 letter agencys can come up with a terrorist suspect by checking the reading habits at a library then more power to them. But secret warrants are a violation of our 4th amendment rights.
We have met the enemy and he is us. |

![]() Sid. In the zeal to hunt for terrorists why is the Government ignoring some very major terrorists. If a goal of terrorism is to undermine the American society and make our citizens distrust our institutions, then WHY are the economic terrorists NOT being recognized for what they really are. Enron, WorldCom, the brokers who lied about stock worth to make personal gains, people who use insider info to get out of the market before the excrement hit the fan[Martha Stewert} Arthur Anderson etc. When you bring all these different actions under the terrorism laws[PatriotAct] maybe these theiving bast***s will be truly punished for their actions not slapped on the wrist at Club Fed. If the Feds are going to be checking at my Library for my borrowing interests they damn well better be checking into the boardrooms and exec offices to see what they're reading and doing.
