The Magic Pill

Get real for a moment people – here we are, a race of highly intelligent beings, quintessentially versed in the sciences, progressive in our thinking and forever aspiring to advance even further and yet, every time that we tune in to the nightly news, we are privy to naught but mayhem, intrigue and rampant bloodshed – why is that exactly?

“Is this just some sought of population control, is it our violently inherent nature or is it rampant insanity perhaps -that drives us forever forward toward the doorstep of mortal oblivion?”

So, just what is the magical pill that will force our race to reverse course, back up a step and finally realize that our course is not set in stone and that we are, after all, but human, fallible, and maybe even temporary?

Or are we so convinced in our own infallibility, wisdom and control, that we can just continue-on infinitum and that the majesty of our intellect will always see us through – DREAM ON?

“And just think about this for a moment?”

What if we are not as divinely-inspired as we might all like to believe? And what if our nearly free-ride is rapidly growing thin? And what if our resources ‘are not’ totally renewable and infinite – “WHAT THEN?!”
