Question Genuine Trust

1-16-2023

I guess that it all boils down to but a single word – “TRUST!” And no matter how you slice it, without real trust and the elements that go into its rock-solid matrix (including truth itself) - “All Else Fails Miserably! And the most horrendous of all of “The Incessant Enemies of Trust” is “The Abolition of Truth Itself”, for without this inviable boon to humanity, “Just how much of real value and essence could ever be invested within the word trust itself?”

Unfortunately However, truth in itself (Real Truth), is often in miserly short supply and its remaining essence is sorely strained as it dribbles beyond the vocal chords of those who insist upon bending its sacred mandate - and this, just in order to satiate their ever changing values and concepts of what truth really (and eternally) entails?

And as so often happens, within today’s constantly vacillating society, and especially within our incessantly changing political retrospect, “Real Truth” is redundantly just a matter of our own extemporaneous and personal convenience – “And Thus – It So Often Is?”

“IF IT LIVES – THEN IT TRULY MATTERS!”

Arrow Trust vr's Faith (a confliction of sorts)

For most people there is no practical difference between faith and trust; to them, the two are synonymous.
-
Faith without trust is not faith. Belief without reliance is empty.
-
On the other hand, in popular English usage, the word faith often has a deeper meaning.
-
Whereas; Faith is defined as “the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not yet seen”
-
[So what, then, we take a Leap of Faith? The term leap of faith is not found in the Bible. It is a common idiom, though. Usually, to take a leap of faith means “to believe in something with no evidence for it” or “to attempt an endeavor that has little chance of success.” So we take this Leap of Faith; which actually originated in a religious context].
-
We all grew up with the Leap of Faith as a guide of sorts. Even in the military we would make these Leap's of Faith in many actions taken over our tours. Waring amongst others we assume to be trained as such to take a Leap of Faith at times rather then being compromised.
-
I was raised a Catholic by my Grand-Parents who were - religious to the church teachings. Their Son's went into the service during WWII and her husband in WWI. We were all taught by Catholic teaching. Guidelines for us all - but Trust & Faith doesn't necessarily mean you're bullet proof - and you may have to kill or be - killed in battle - of which a confliction sets in - and it could at times cost you your life while in battle.

So here we take a - Leap of Faith - that we have our God and our Training to succeed in battle. This is where waring has to be a Leap of Faith - and that we live or die - by our actions.

Amen.
