Are the massive wild fires that are currently raging in ‘The American West (and elsewhere)’ just a precursor of larger things that are yet to come? Or could these exceedingly dry conditions be just a (new) normal state of affairs, concern, and even alarm? For with everything that is taking place these days (politically, naturally, and even esoterically), you have seriously got to ask yourself: “Just what in the ‘Hell’ is really going on?” Or could it be that mankind’s stewardship of this planet and its people as well, has seriously gone to “Hades?” And if that is truly the case, then should we not be asking ourselves: “What we can do (and damned fast) to rectify the situation?” Or do you seriously believe that our tenure upon this tiny planet is infinitesimal? So why is it, I ask you, that our race of beings shows so damned little concern or consideration for all of those things that span just beyond the reach of our relatively tiny little noses? And do we indeed have so little concern for every other form of life that exists upon this Earth - that we can treat them all so callously and maliciously? Or maybe we genuinely do believe that our race is eternal and beyond any esoteric contestations – yeah, tell me another one!! Natural History is replete with those uncounted species of life that thought the same thing, or those numerous other creatures that lacked the ability to reason or to think about what it truly means to be mortal and finite! But unlike those dumb old beast of the jungle, we mortal men have the power, “but apparently not the will”, to see just what in the ‘Hell’ it is that we are doing to this fragile little planet of ours, or don’t we even care anymore? Apparently – “Our recorded human history, along with the lessons, the conflicts, and the other travails of the past - have taught us precious damned little (if anything), of real, intrinsic, or even lasting value!?” (hrt-18 March 2022) Hardcore
