A Usually Peaceful Invasion

There are many different kinds of invasions, although most of them have a similar goal – it being, the transformation of some existing way of life - and that (in my opinion) is totally wrong!! For without diversity, all else quickly fails, becomes boring, complacent and even droll! These invasions however, are not always productive or even revolutionary, for that matter? They are sometimes totally destructive to someone’s existing way of life, and I take great exception to those people (or groups) who invade an area because their own homeland forbids diversity, and then quickly attempt to transform that new land into an instant replay of the sluggish and worn-out way of life that they escaped from in the first place? Or even to people those who habitually gravitate into the same old ethnic-based communities, be they in a different portion of the world, and then demand that this new community adhere to their old and stagnant ways of life!

The United States of America is a magnificent bastion of human existence, in so much as people flocked to this glorious land of ours in search of religious, ethnic, and even political freedoms, only to almost immediately congregate back into identical communities of their own, be they religious, political, ethnic, educational, or what have you!

So in effect, and once again in my own ignorant opinion – the very same communities, mind sets, and even their own countries of origin as well, that these searching people fled from, are quickly reincorporated within their adopted new lands. And as such - it is quickly right back to square number one, once again, in my own ‘sorely under-educated’ opinion?

“We have a relatively new land here people!” And as such, it is for us to preserve its originality, its promise, its equal rights and even its future potential as well! And “The United States of America” is not only the shining light of our various freedoms and our hopes; it is also an awesome responsibility that we have taken on for every generation of our people that are yet to come! “And So It Is And So It Must Forever Remain!”
