DHA director meets with RHC-P CG

JOINT BASE LEWIS-MCCHORD, Wash. -- Navy Vice Adm. Raquel Bono, director, Defense Health Agency, stopped by the Regional Health Command-Pacific headquarters at Joint Base Lewis-McChord June 29 as the last stop of her recent trip in the Pacific Northwest. Bono met with Brig. Gen. Dennis LeMaster, commanding general, RHC-P, to discuss Military Health and Army Medicine initiatives to include MHS GENESIS - the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) new electronic health record that was recently piloted in the Pacific Northwest at Madigan Army Medical Center, Naval Hospital Bremerton, Naval Health Clinic Oak Harbor and Fairchild Air Force Base. During earlier portions of the visit Bono was able to see the new EHR in action and receive feedback from users at each site.
