10-18-2015 12:03 AM Lompoc Record Vet spent his Air Force years testing safety systems on jets headed to Vietnam Lompoc Record Fred Siordia didn't go to Vietnam during his four years in the Air Force, but his work helped keep fighter pilots safe as they flew the skies of southeast Asia. The Salinas native was studying at Hartnell College when he decided to enlist in December 1968. More...
