Holloman supports Hurricane Sandy relief efforts
The 49th Materiel Maintenance Group from Holloman Air Force Base, N.M., prepared Nov. 2 to ship equipment in support of Hurricane Sandy relief efforts.This equipment includes 58,000 pounds of cargo consisting of two water pumps capable of pumping 400 gallons of water per minute, 12,000 feet of hose, and two containers of system support items. It was transported on a C-17 Globemaster III from the 89th Airlift Squadron at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio.
