Juan Guebara, right, a watercraft engineer assigned to the 7th Sustainment Brigade, tosses a line to two soldiers on the main causeway during a Joint Logistics Over the Shore exercise at Fort Story, Va., Aug. 21. The JLOTS exercises are performed around the world in joint and coalition environments. Operations involve loading and unloading of ships without the benefit of deep draft-capable, fixed port facilities. This exercise involves both U.S. Army and Navy personnel interacting to accomplish the mission.
