Oh man...I have been assigned a role allready. May I suggest, for light reading, Miss Manners Guide To The New Millenium. It has a very civilizing effect. If this is my role, I will be refering to it often.

Well, let's just say they are some more public ones..associated with a cable TV network. They really don't monitor the posts too well..lots of idiots who get off stirring up trouble..most of us are at an age where we do not suffer fools gladly and would prefer to exchange ideas instead of verbal barrages. The moderators and site operators here do a good job screening the flamethrowers and wannabes.
Oh, don't get me wrong..things do get stirred up here, but they're more like family spats than all out verbal war. Joe

Those Other Sites
The forums at Military.com are - shall we say - also less than adequately patrolled by their moderators.
In addition, some folks' (including mine) IDs, passwords and e-mail accounts have been hacked into over there. Sadly, Milcom takes no action against the bad apples.  Therefore, Milcom will never again darken my computer's doorway.
