?EIGHT STRIKES AND COUNTING?

The bi-partisan writing is definitely on the wall! Eight (8) House members have been given their walking papers from Congress, and during the primaries no less! Regardless of reason or political party, U.S. Voters seem unhappy with the performance, ethical considerations, or loose statements made by some incumbents.

Be the insider Republican or Democrat, the people who cast the votes are sending an unmistakable message to lawmakers that certain actions will no longer be tolerated from powerfully-placed political entities who are supposed to be setting an example!

Could it possibly be that many amidst the rank and file of voters are more conscientious and far more ethical than some whom we elect to public office? I mean, how often do you hear of a factory worker stealing an election, or a waitress murdering her fellow employees, or a school teacher declaring war against an adjoining school district? For that matter, how many grocery clerks break into a political headquarters, or how many
homemakers use cigars during intimate relations! And most of all, how many freedom loving countries create super-cop agencies to regulate or restrict constitutional rights and liberties?

Getting back to the meat of this amazing state of bi-partisan political affairs, with eight incumbents biting the dust in primary elections, one has to wonder if we are on a multi-party roll that just may last thru 2004! The domino (as in domino effect) is, after all, an amazing structure - when one falls in the wrong direction, the entire box-full can quickly get caught up in the momentum! And with it, who knows who or how many
interconnected puckers may also be directed to the bread lines! ?As goes the arrogant buttocks, so goes the political groin!?
