While at Dong Ha the USO sent a couple of round eyes up to play and sing on a little stage . A little touch of home. Think they also sponsered Bob Hope shows , but never got to see him.Today they are sending lone entertainers out to platoons on FOB's. The first Tour was led by Toby Keith and Scotty Emerick in Afghanistan , they visited 18 FOB's in ten days.Yesterday remembering back 38 years and the touch of home they brought me I sent them a small donation , hoping to bring a touch of home to the men and women in uniform today risking their lives keeping my family secure. Thank you USO.
