One of these days I'm going to make up a list of some rather notable careers
that would have been cut short by those term limits.

It probably would be headed by John Quincy Adams, Henry Clay, Daniel
Webster, John Calhoun, Sam Rayburn, Everett Dirksen, Hubert Humphrey, Barry
Goldwater, Robert Taft, Sam Erwin, Robert Dole.

Even Newt Gingrich.
