VA pressure paying off

Today was very productive for our local VA Hospital after a meeting between lawmakers, VA reps, American Legion Nat'l Cmdr and VFW Cmdr's. To date our local VA has a backlog of 10,000 vets awaiting medical care and a primary doctor.

Today, we have schieved a MAJOR victory with both lawmakers as well as the VA Hospital. They are going to influx into this facility a sum of $17 million dollars, 12 new doctors with complete staff and 12 new primary care clinics to handle the backlog of vets waiting.

They also established a goal deadline to accomplish this task by Sept 30, 2003.

Gentlemen and ladies, this is proof positive that assertive, and constant pressure on your lawmakers locally and in DC can and do work if we ban together as veterans and PUSH, PUSH, PUSH!!
