![]() Now, Colonel, you known I am ex-Marine. We do not have all that brass on our class "A"s. I always got into trouble with the Army. Never could see their rank through the glare off the brass.

![]() If this is supposedly a set of Blues then patches are not worn on them but the rank is worn on shoulder boards and not as brass. All officers uniforms have piping on the sleeve, if greens it should be black, if blues it should be 2 gold bands with branch color in between. Have to check the ribbons, little fuzzy, but 2nd ribbon up on left side is a good conduct ribbon, only issued to enlisted, you had to be enlisted and go to OCS to get one. The two top ribbons are air medal and Meritorius Service Medal, I see no pilots wings so to have an Air Medal would require a shit load of class B flight time. I have never seen a captain with a MSM. The Brass is crossed cannons?? but not crossed rifles in which case he should not be wearing the blue infantry cord.

![]() I can't tell, but I cannot make out if he has US jump wings. Crossed arrows, were added after I got out so did not recognize them. All ribbons are post VN so he could not have gotten enough Class A combat time in the air to have an Air Medal.

![]() Ya?ll Army guys wear so many do-dads that I could hardly tell what the heck was going on to whom and in what order. But maybe the wings are not US Army and are in the correct spot if won via foreign training. With that, I?m plum out of gas and have no further clues.

![]() Was wearing E-7 rank at a wedding in California in 98 and has promoted himself to Captain. As far as we can tell he's never been in the military. The photo, if you down load it to a Kodak file can be enlarged. He's wearing MFF wings and Master wings with a mustard stain. The branch insignia is crossed arrows (SF) If he is SF and has a Ranger Scroll he'd be affiliated with either the Ranger Regiment or the 1st SF Regiment. That crest over his foreign jump wings is neither. If he has combat time (he's wearing a CIB and has the Ranger Scroll on the right shoulder indicating a combat unit) he should have some Overseas Bars on his sleeve. The uniform is Greens, Class A not Dress Blues. There should be a 1" black band around the cuff and one running down the seam of the trousers. He's wearing Captains Bars on his shoulder on an EM uniform.
This poser has claimed at various times to have jumped into Panama with the Rangers (Wrong Scroll) Been in A-stan with SF and other claims too numerous and ridiculous to mention. He's been outed on SOCNET as a phony and we intend to post his BIO and photo on the Special Forces "Wall of Shame". He's even made a claim that his brother was a SEAL who was KIA and his father was a SEAL and an instructor at BUD/S. Seals have confirmed that this is total BS. This pogue has been using his BS to get contracts for Security type work. ![]() |

![]() This guy would try my anger management therapy. Knew personally the Mother, Brother and Uncle of the SEAL killed in Panama. They were Hispanic, (Rodriguez) Rocky (the brother) has covered my back several times. Have gotten drunk many times with Sonny (the uncle) and DMZ-LT still sees him occasionally in Houston. Mrs. Rodriguez makes the best homemade tamales you will ever taste. When he died I remember telling them that he was a warrior and went the way a warrior would want to go. A couple of years after his death Mrs Rodriguez was mugged in a Houston suburb (Richardson I believe). I am told that some members of SEAL team #2 made a visit and explained the consequences of harming a SEAL team mother (the bodies were never found).

![]() at the psyco vets meeting in Savannah, We had a wannabe come up to us at the bar. Paco told us that he had tried to get a guy arrested once but it is not against the law to pass yourself off as a veteran as long as you do not do it for money. Also it is not against the law to posses ribbons. You can be arrested though if on a military installation.

![]() I see that he is not wearing a unit crest on the shoulders either.
I also am having trouble identifying the ribbon next to the MSM. As to the crest over the foreign wings, this could be a regimental affiliation. Not the current unit he is in. As for the overseas stripe on the sleave, if he wasn't in an war zone for six months (combined) he wouldn't have one. I am not trying to defend the pogue, just commenting.
