A petroleum barge caught fire while pumping to or from a Staten Island Petroleum refinery. By the size and intensity of the blaze, I?d say that the barge was receiving refinery product and not pumping crude into the refinery. But it?s hard to say from what has been said thus far. My guess would be a shipping pump wreck as those get constant hard use and can really blow apart if a bearing or end seal let?s go. But on the other hand, it could be any number of causes.

The news also said that the smoke could be seen for four states.
One dead and one missing. How about the one in RI.? 95 dead so far. Just a DAMN shame, Staten Island, RI, and Chicago. I havent heard anything about terrorism on any of the three ( but you can never tell).. enough..........
