I can’t help but wonder what might have happened had “Our Nation” been bombarded with all of this same type of “Incessant-Media-Chatter and Purely Political Infighting” that currently pervades the airways today, and this, back during several of the most trying eras of -

“Our Own Great Nation’s - History Past?”

Granted, there has always been “The Yellow-Journalistic and Quintessentially Ambitious News-Hawks” - the industrious men and women, who vigorously ply their trades amidst all of the blood and carnage of open warfare and national turbulence! But when I turn on the tube and witness broadcasters who seem to be far more embroiled with their wardrobes, hair styles, and even their verbosity, than they do in just delivering truth and the facts, then I have got to genuinely wonder, just how do these people function?

After all, how could anyone in their right mind relate pure tragedy and mayhem with a self-serving grin plastered clear across their blank faces? A smirk, I might add, that truly rivals a kid on their first trip to some all-consuming funhouse, within some massive (and expensive) amusement park, and this while some teleprompter is substituting for their own brain?

“But maybe it is just me?” After all, in a world that promotes pomp and glitz over mere truth and equal justice, – What in the ‘Hell’ can any of us really expect?
