![]() ![]() ![]() By Tank Murdoch (TNS) As one blue state and enclave after another declare ‘coronavirus emergencies’ in what is now obviously a concerted effort to turn a so-far mild viral outbreak into President Trump’s “Katrina,” more members of the media are beginning to call them out for their irresponsible hype. Count Fox Business Network’s Trish Regan among them.
Specifically, Regan likened Democrats’ outsized complaining and predictions of doom and gloom to their recent impeachment attempt, which left the party less popular than Republicans for the first time in decades. “We reached a tipping point,” she began on “Trish Regan Primetime” Monday. .pi_119180 div, .pi_119180 a, .pi_119180 img{ margin: 0; padding: 0; line-height: 0; list-style: none; border: 0; vertical-align: baseline; }.pi_119180 {position:relative;width:auto;background:#fff;}.pi _119180 a{display:inline-block;width:100%;border:0;border-style:none;outline:none;text-decoration:none;}.pi_119180 img{display:block;max-width:100%;border:0;outline:none;text-decoration:none;}.pi_119180 .pi_title{font-family:'league-gothic', Arial, sans-serif;font-size:24px;font-weight:bold;text-align:left;color:#000000;margin:0 0 10px 0;line-height: 100%;}.pi_119180 .pi_brand {float:right;clear:both;padding-top: 5px;}.pi_119180 .pi_header:after, .pi_119180 .pi_footer:after, .pi_119180 .pi_au_container:after {content:""; display: table; clear: both;}.pi_119180 .pi_au_container{padding:0 !important;direction:ltr;}.pi_119180 .pi_au{position:relative;font-size:0;width:23.255%;float:left;vertical-align:top;min-width:50px;list-style-type:none;box-sizing:border-box;}.pi_119180 .pi_au ~ .pi_au{margin:0 0 0 2.3%;}.pi_119180 .pi_au img{width:100%;height:auto;}@media screen and (max-width:620px){.pi_119180 .pi_au{width:48.666%;}.pi_119180 .pi_au ~ .pi_au{margin:0 0 2% 2.6%;}.pi_119180 .pi_au.pi_o{margin:0 0 2% 0;}} You Might Like ![]() “The chorus of hate being leveled at the president is nearing a crescendo as Democrats blame him, and only him, for a virus that originated halfway around the world,” Regan said in her opening monologue. “This is yet another attempt to impeach the president, and sadly it seems they care very little for any of the destruction they are leaving in their wake. Losses in the stock market, all this, unfortunately, just part of the political casualties for them,” she added. “You know this is a time to be united, not to be pointing fingers, not to be encouraging hate,” she continued. “And yet what do we see? We see the absolute opposite from the left tonight.” Shen then took on the president’s critics. “The hate is boiling over. Many in the liberal media using – and I mean using –* coronavirus in an attempt to demonize and destroy the president,” she said as she then played a number of video clips of criticism being leveled at the president. “I don’t think the president is capable of telling us the truth about the coronavirus,” California Rep. Jackie Speier told MSNBC in one clip. “They have no plan,” MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough said in another. “The virus is going to kill Americans regardless of their stupidity.” .pi_119179 div, .pi_119179 a, .pi_119179 img{ margin: 0; padding: 0; line-height: 0; list-style: none; border: 0; vertical-align: baseline; }.pi_119179 {position:relative;width:auto;background:#fff;}.pi _119179 a{display:inline-block;width:100%;border:0;border-style:none;outline:none;text-decoration:none;}.pi_119179 img{display:block;max-width:100%;border:0;outline:none;text-decoration:none;}.pi_119179 .pi_title{font-family:'league-gothic', Arial, sans-serif;font-size:24px;font-weight:bold;text-align:left;color:#000000;margin:0 0 10px 0;line-height: 100%;}.pi_119179 .pi_brand {float:right;clear:both;padding-top: 5px;}.pi_119179 .pi_header:after, .pi_119179 .pi_footer:after, .pi_119179 .pi_au_container:after {content:""; display: table; clear: both;}.pi_119179 .pi_au_container{padding:0 !important;direction:ltr;}.pi_119179 .pi_au{position:relative;font-size:0;width:23.255%;float:left;vertical-align:top;min-width:50px;list-style-type:none;box-sizing:border-box;}.pi_119179 .pi_au ~ .pi_au{margin:0 0 0 2.3%;}.pi_119179 .pi_au img{width:100%;height:auto;}@media screen and (max-width:620px){.pi_119179 .pi_au{width:48.666%;}.pi_119179 .pi_au ~ .pi_au{margin:0 0 2% 2.6%;}.pi_119179 .pi_au.pi_o{margin:0 0 2% 0;}} You Might Like ![]() Former Obama Chief of Staff and Chicago mayor Rahm Emanuel claimed on CBS News that the Trump administration “couldn’t organize a one-car parade.” Yes,*har har, we chortle at the guy who actually said Democrats should never let “crisis” opportunities like coronavirus slip away without exploiting them. “The president should lead, or else he should get out of the way,” CNN’s Brian Stelter declared in another clip, imploring the president to “stay on the golf course.” Observed Regan, “This is impeachment all over again.” “They don’t care who they hurt. Whether it be their need to create mass hysteria to encourage a market sell-off, unlike anything we have seen recently. Or whether it be to create mass hysteria in order to stop our economy dead in its tracks – don’t kid yourself,” Regan continued. “They told us how much they crave a recession as a way to get rid of Donald Trump,” Regan added. “This is impeachment all over again, complete with a whistleblower to complain about our Health and Human Services Committee,” Regan said.
