Default ‘Oz’ Geist: ‘Trump’s decisiveness and leadership would have saved my Benghazi team’

By Tank Murdock

(TNS) If there is a hell and it’s just like it’s been portrayed in the Bible and in pop culture, we can only hope that Hillary Clinton winds up there.

And her boss, Barack Obama, along with members of his ‘national security’ team who left four Americans to die in that Middle East s**thole known as Benghazi, Libya, in 2012, after they screwed up.
We’ll never forget that smug, arrogant, smirking Clinton nearly screaming in response to a serious inquiry from the Senate about what went wrong in Benghazi that resulted in the preventable deaths of four U.S. diplomatic personnel.

We’ll never forget the abject lies these people told — blaming a very clear terrorist attack on an obscure video made by some schmuck in California no one ever heard of (including the al-Qaeda terrorists in Benghazi who were killing our personnel).

“With all due respect, the fact is, we had four dead Americans. Was it because of a protest or because of guys out for a walk one night who decide to kill some Americans, what difference at this point does it make? It is our job to figure out what happened and do everything we can to prevent it from ever happening again, Senator,” she told Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.).
As you read about John Huber letting Hillary Clinton off the hook (again) today, never forget this Benghazi moment. https://t.co/TvY09xgSAQ

If you feel the urge to grab this ‘person’ by the throat and shake her until she vomits, don’t worry. You’re not alone.

The one good thing that came from behavior like this is that it brought us*President Donald Trump. And while Garbage Party members and their media sycophants were hoping and praying that recent besieging of our embassy in Baghdad would turn out to be his “Benghazi,” the fact is it was never going to become that.

Donald Trump would never, ever let Americans be slaughtered like that, as he proved by sending in Apaches and Marines, without hesitation.

This*after he sent Iranian Gen. Qassem Soleimani to that place Hillary may well wind up someday.

In a column for Fox News, Mark “Oz” Geist, a member of the Annex Security Team that fought the Battle of Benghazi, Libya, from September 11 to September 12, 2012, noted that*this president would have saved the people he was trying to save:

The Obama administration’s mishandling of this attack — which resulted in the first murder of a U.S. ambassador in the line of duty since the 1970s — was a far cry from the*Trump administration’s*decisive response to threats against our embassy in Iraq.

The basic facts should be enough to dismiss any serious comparison. My team and I were told to “stand down” no fewer than three times in the face of what the media later called “protesters” — even as Americans, including Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens, were being killed and maimed by the*terrorists. No U.S. military reaction force was sent, despite our numerous requests for help. Only by our own tenacity and courage were more than 30 Americans able to escape with our*lives.

Compare that to the recent attack on the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad. When Iran-backed militias and their supporters stormed the embassy grounds and Iraqi forces refused to do their duty to defend American lives and property,

President Trump reacted forcefully. In roughly the same amount of time it took to the Obama administration to get an unarmed American drone over our heads as we fought for our lives in Benghazi, more than 100 U.S. Marines were on the scene to defend the Baghdad embassy and two Apache helicopter gunships were in the air asserting American sovereignty.

In no small part due to that decisive reaction, no Americans were seriously hurt in the attack.

The comparison breaks down even further when you look beyond the events of the day and examine the longer-term strategies employed by each administration. The difference comes down to one thing: leadership. President Trump is demonstrating bold and effective leadership, whereas President Obama showed only weakness and cowardice.

Conservative talker Rush Limbaugh discussed on his program how Democrats and their media propagandists were openly pining for the Baghdad embassy siege to become “Trump’s Benghazi,” asking, in essence, ‘If Obama didn’t do anything wrong in Benghazi, then why is it being used as a negative against Trump?’

.pi_119181 div, .pi_119181 a, .pi_119181 img, .pi_119181 ul, .pi_119181 li { margin: 0; padding: 0; line-height: 0; list-style: none; border: 0; vertical-align: baseline; } .pi_119181 { position: relative; max-width: 970px; margin: 0 auto; overflow: hidden; } .pi_119181 a { display: block; border: 0; border-style: none; outline: none; text-decoration: none; } .pi_119181 img { display: block; max-width: 100%; border: 0; outline: none; text-decoration: none; } .pi_119181 .pi_brand img { max-width: 84px; } .pi_119181 .pi_brand { position: absolute; display: block; width: 15px; height: 15px; overflow: hidden; right: 0; top: 0; cursor: pointer; z-index: 1000; transition: width .3s; line-height: 0; } .pi_119181 .pi_brand:hover { width: 84px; } .pi_119181 .pi_au img { height: auto; width: 100%; max-width: 970px; }

The answer, of course, is that the Garbage Party is populated with gargantuan hypocrites who would sacrifice American lives again if it meant ‘getting one over’ on Trump. It’s disgusting, it’s pathetic, it’s treasonous, and it’s not something we should tolerate from the men and women we send to Washington to represent us, no matter which party they belong to.

But as Oz puts it, at least for the next 1-5 years, we will have a president who won’t let weaker enemies abuse, target, and kill Americans.
