Exercise hones JGSDF and USARJ's capabilities

The Northern army of the Japan Ground Self Defense Force and U.S. Army Japan and I Corps (Forward) participated in the JGSDF Northern Army's Sapporo Epicenter humanitarian assistance and disaster relief exercise, held at Camp Sapporo, Japan, Jan. 23-27, 2013. This is the first year that USARJ has been asked to participate in this humanitarian assistance and disaster relief exercise.
