Command Sgt. Maj. Brandon Haywood, the brigade command sergeant major for the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), comforts Susan and Janet Riccione at the grave site of their brother Cpl. Steven Riccione, Sept. 8. Riccione earned the Bronze Star with Valor while serving with Company A, 2nd Battalion, 502nd Infantry Regiment and was killed in Vietnam Sept. 27, 1967. Riccione, a Geneva, NY native, recently had his hometown post office renamed in his honor.
