My mother pased away on Dec 21st 1994. We decided to wait until the 27th for the funeral. She was buried with my dad at Ft Snelling Nat'l Cemetary on that bitterly cold and windy day. My younger sister has had a lot of trouble with holiday festivities ever since then. It's not so hot for me either.

Christmas, 1970 in RVN. Was 2nd Christmas away from my wife & daughter. Had a great dinner (steak) but had nothing after that but to sit and look at that &$*@ bridge at Dong Ha. Have hated to be away from home overnight ever since.

had a string of bad Christmas's 67 in Qin nan in the hospital had a bug, christmas 69 hospital with my eye's bandage up not knowing if I would every see again christmas 70 Ft jackson yeah back in the hospital, at least later on I changed my months to the spring.

I just wanted to say thank you for your service to this country. I was a kid when you were in Korea. But I remember older friends going and coming home. I have a tremendous amount of respect for you all. And what you went through. I hope the years since have been good to you. Welcome Home.
