Default AFA: BAE, Northrop Pitch T-38 Replacement

BAE Systems and Northrop Grumman announced Sept. 19 at the Air Force Association's fall conference that the two companies are teaming up to offer the Hawk aircraft for the U.S. Air Force's nascent T-X jet trainer requirement. The T-X would replace the 50-year-old Northrop Grumman T-38 Talon jet trainer.
