Operation Hurricane (16 September 2004)

Operation Hurricane was a clearing operation designed to find and seize any weapons and munitions caches in the Ramadi area. The operation also aimed at disrupting the Daham terrorist network which is suspected of having ties to Abu Musab al-Zarqawi. Members of the Brigade Combat Team 2 participated in the operation.

The operation resulted in the capture of four insurgents and the seizure of six improvised explosive devices and some IED making material.
