Operation Duke Fortitude (April 2004)

Members of the 3rd Brigade Combat Team of the 1st Infantry Division launched Operation Duke Fortitude in Fallujah amid a wave of violence in the city. The operation was designed to capture or kill elements of the Madhi army and Muqtada Al-Sadr.
