Operation Tiger Clean Sweep (07 September 2003)

Soldiers of the 1st Squadron, 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment launched Operation Tiger Clean along the western border of Iraq and in the city of Al Qa'im. The operation was aimed at stopping foreign fighters from entering Iraq and to clear the city of enemy personnel. Soldiers cordorned and search an entire section of the city and captured 14 individuals suspected of participating in anti-coalition attacks.
