Too cold and wet this summer for tomatoes up here. Many folks hit with the blight.
Maybe next year we might actually get a summer. Our high today is in the high 60's. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

D-Lady.......
Never ran into that problem.
Maybe think Plastic??? You know,...like that stuff used for drop cloths and Green Houses. :cd: Or, think cans,...like the ones sold in stores. Regardless, who-the-hell-knows? Maybe next year you'll have too much sun, if such is possible for tomatoes? Neil |

Actually the 'late season" blight has hit many of the commercial growers in Penn too.
It thrives on this Yucky weather. Our low hit 51 degrees over the weekend! I'm moving SOUTH!
