Interesting. France sells half their munitions plant output to Saddam, and that?s a lot of ammo. This ammo rationing would seem to suggest that maybe France has Saddam on a COD basis or something along those lines. I?m not sure how this flail is going to go but what makes Saddam think the US troops are going to get within assault rifle range. As the Marines say ?never send a Marine where you can send a bullet and the bigger the bullet, the better?. I assume the Army has similar thoughts and methods.

The only Country even attempting to be honest about the mess is Russia. Saddam has run up an $8 billion tab for second and third-rate military equipment and Russia wants to get paid and makes no bones about it. If nothing else, I can appreciate honesty sans hypocrisy. France and Germany, especially Germany seems to be high-centered on duplicitous dishonesty and mega thick hypocrisy. I ain?t buying into the German lament about being against war and all that weepy crap they are trying to put down, give me a brake. If and when we get to looking at all of Saddam?s poison and nasty bio generating equipment our pals the Fritzes are going to be mighty embarrassed for sure when the Country of origin and age of equipment is revealed.
