Talking Paco's Doctor appointment

Tom I hear you have a Doctors appointment next month up north in Tennessee. You make sure he prescribes some of Shirleys home cooking. You won't be dissipointed. But go hungary they keep bringing food until you tell them to stop and it was all very good. you and Deb will love the place and the companys pretty grand too. have a round on me and send me the bill. And by the way Tom - Doc knows them hills like the back of his hand we only had to fill the gas tank 3 times to go the 15 miles and four hour trip to the resturant. And its pretty cool the way you can cross four state lines to go to dinner. Maybe you better let Shirley drive that way its only about a ten minute trip. its kindda cool how she puts those magnetic NASCAR numbers on the side of her SUV when she drives. wish we were going with you,.I'm green with envey. Have a safe trip and be safe ...chris

Chris!

I hear all your saying and in no way shape or form would I ride in a vehicle that Doc was driving. We have been to their farm before and rode with Shirley "Muldowny" through what seemed to be 4 states per minute. She could have run "likker" for my family any time. I think she could teach Junior Johnson a thing or 2. We will all be staying at the Mountain Magnolia Inn in Hot Springs NC/TN. Y'all can see the place by going to www.mountainmagnoliainn.com. We are hoping for some snow since that's something we don't get to see. Having heated seats added to the truck tomorrow. Nice on the butts, backs, and muscles. Speaking of butts, backs, HIPS, and muscles, I have just purchased a TEMPER-PEDIC bed and have gotten the best sleep ever in over 30 years. Absolutely NO: hip pain, back pain, or shoulder pain when I sleep and am sleeping almost all night. There was some pain to my wallet but I am telling everyone here that this SOB works! I really do have more energy in the morning but the main thing....NO PAIN! Yep, back a little stiff but that will be forever but NO PAIN! For those of us with bad backs, hips, necks, etc. give one a try. You can always return it w/in 120 days if you don't like it. First layed on one in Jonesboro Tennessee while visiting Doc and Shirley. Finally bought one and can't believe it.

Chris, we are way psyched for this trip and can't wait to see our friends and take a dip in the hot spring.

Default Packo...

Even though never met and only: "A Yankee/Rebel",...truly glad hearing you're feeling better and sleeping much better.

Was truly impressed by that: "...but NO PAIN" bit while sleeping, since both wife and I know full well that it's a bitch trying to sleep, while having only minor discomforts.
Thanks for The Heads-up.

Plus, thanks for the warning that if: "Shirley" is behind the wheel, accepting a ride anywhere from her,...just wouldn't be the wisest thing for ANYONE to do.
Besides, walking's supposed to be much better for you, anyway.

P.S. Packo,
Please disregard one or the other reply.
Pretty-much both identical.
Haven't got a clue at what I did, or how to loose the first one??

Now in reality I have to step in and deffend Shirley Honor here. She is a very good driver. in fact one of the best I've ever rode with. when you spend your youth running shine over the mountians you learn how to drive good and also fast. I would ride shotgun with MissShirley driving anytime.

Shirley can cook, no doubt, but let me tell you how good of a driver she is. She could drive taxi in Boston and not have the obligatory two accidents per month. Chris, you recall taking a cab in Boston?

Fred you keep an eye on She Who Walks With Bovines. I recall she never looks down while in the pasture.

Packo, please be careful at the picnic table. Beds at the hospital aren?t always that comfortable.

Stay healthy,
Andy

Neil you can be / call yourself a copperhead then thats the group of fellars up north that were sympathetic to the cause and tried to change the Government from within' My folks btw were Border Ruffians from Missouri . In the Ozark hills we all drive like moonshiners too with lead foots and hot brakes

Shirley proves the adage that the shortest way between two curves is a straight line with the pedal to the metal. She is amazed at how soon I can fall asleep when she is driving. I just don't want to see it coming. Actually she is a very good driver fast or slow. One of her high school classmates (there were only twelve) is Bradley Teague. He races NASCAR and is the only racer that ever got expelled from a racetrack for reckless driving (Talledega). He used to drive down the Iron Mountain road standing on the ouside floorboard of his old car. Now THAT is reckless driving.
Too bad She Who Walks With Bovines isn't going to stay at the Place Chris and Joan did. They had llamas to pet. They're kinda like long necked cows that spit in your face.
